An EIM project record describes an 11-meter bearing assembly supplied in sections for a customer in Russia. The large curved components and rolling elements shown in the workshop photos required a different packing approach from a single, fully assembled ring. The supplied order narrative records the sections leaving Dalian by rail on October 9; it does not state a year or provide a final-delivery confirmation.

Keeping the bearing sections identifiable
According to the project notes, technical discussions began on May 5 and the final order plan was confirmed on July 19. Part numbering and the packaging instructions were agreed with the customer. Before dispatch, EIM assigned identifiers to individual components and recorded them in the shipment documents. That matters when a large assembly is divided for transport: the receiving team needs to match each piece to its documentation before preparing for assembly.

Protective packing in six wooden crates
The supplied shipment record specifies six wooden crates with oil-resistant film and cushioning. The photos show a curved section fitted into a long wooden crate, wrapped components being handled by workers, and separate rolling elements divided by protective layers inside another box. These visible measures help keep different component shapes separated during handling; the source does not include a transport-impact test.

Rail dispatch and receiving preparation
The order narrative says the consignment left EIM’s Dalian facility on October 9 for rail transportation to Russia. Arrival and final assembly were follow-up matters at the time described in that narrative. With the sections identified and documented, the customer has a clearer basis for checking the crates on receipt and preparing the later assembly sequence.

Discuss sectional or large-diameter bearing requirements
If you are sourcing a large bearing or a sectional assembly, send your drawing, installation dimensions, load conditions, component identification requirements and intended delivery destination. EIM can review the technical documentation and packing considerations before quotation. Explore slewing ring bearings or send an RFQ.
